‘Energy for the Territory’ was the title of the conference held on Friday 23 June at the Rocca Cilento Castle, organized by Helios S.p.A. and dedicated to the role of utilities in the energy transition.
The talk saw the participation of customers, institutions and partners through the organization of thematic tables dedicated to interaction with key players in the sector.
Speaking during the business talk on market development, best practices and innovation in the energy market was Giuseppe Lombardini, General Manager and Chief Project Manager Cisa Consulting. The speech focused on the role and potential of Renewable Energy Communities with public traction, where the role of Municipalities is first of all planning and then participation and governance of initiatives in the area. Public Administrations can play an active role in promoting and supporting the realization of RECs by making their own buildings available for the construction of production plants or by bringing their own plants into the REC. The benefits can be seen in environmental, economic and socio-community terms.
“As Cisa Consulting, we are already active in supporting small Municipalities in achieving energy independence in their territories, in Lombardia and beyond. Within the larger context of Integrated Territorial Investments, the Energy Communities with public traction assume a strategic role for the desire to network territories through the establishment of Integrated Territorial Energy Districts“. These were the words of Giuseppe Lombardini during his speech, which hinted at the company’s desire and constant commitment to make Italy part of the European design towards energy transition.
