It is from this sentence that we started to reflect deeply on what the word ‘Listening’ means to us at CISA. Indeed, our task as consultants is first and foremost to be receptive to those who request our support.
For us, listening to territories and Municipalities is the starting point. It is a solid and fundamental basis that starts with the comparison with the Councils and their technical structures, which allow us to get to know the territories closely by sharing their expert vision. Through their perspective we grasp the critical issues that they themselves encounter, from the small inconveniences of the daily lives of those who inhabit those territories to the phenomena that afflict a given area. However, we also collect their dreams for the future, projects that are often condemned to remain in the drawer while waiting for better times and suitable conditions.
It is then in the next phase that our sensitivity comes into play, our external ‘eye’ that makes us able to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each territory, to interpret and systemize what we have been told and what we have not been told, to optimize it and to evolve it into an integrated project that embraces different yet related aspects.
Our experience and expertise in terms of urban regeneration, mobility, energy transition, local preservation and enhancement are adapted from time to time through innovation and environmental, social and economic sustainability. This is our strength, which makes us able to effectively help Municipal administrations to set up a territorial strategy that is synergic, sustainable, concrete, suitable and useful for sustainable development aiming at the long term.
