Technical-Economic Analysis Cable Car Doganaccia-Corno Alle Scale

The Fattibilità project involves the exnovo construction of a “Doganaccia- Corno alle Scale” cableway system, with a double wide supporting cable, which will connect the Doganaccia locality (Municipality of Abetone Cutigliano, Province of Pistoia), to the Prato alla Nevosa locality near the slopes of Mount Cupolino on the western side (Municipality of San Marcello Piteglio, Province of Pistoia). 

The purpose is to favor the connection of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines making it easier and faster to reach the Corno alle Scale district, in the Province of Bologna.

Our role was to analyze the project and return a congruity analysis to the Province to verify its strategic, economic-management, employment, environmental and socio-economic sustainability.
