Forest for Future

ERSAF Lombardia, a regional agency for services to agriculture and forests, has expressed the need to implement the enhancement of its state-owned heritage. For this reason the Forest For Future project aims to establish an innovative model for the management, regeneration and enhancement of this regional heritage through innovative and integrated systems, also using new technologies and digitization, involving private entities too.

The objective of the project
To initiate an experimental design process that, by contributing to the achievement of the expected results of the regional development plan of the Lombardia Region, will lead to the structuring of a regulatory framework for a regional law on innovative and integrated management of the regional heritage.
To achieve this goal, the project must develop on some main thematic axes which are the characterizing elements of the project: Infrastructural upgrading, Trail network integration and digitization, Development of innovative design, Digitization of services and infrastructure, IoT development.

Now the project is in the Fattibilità drafting phase, which goes through the census of existing and start-up initiatives of every single structure and reality present within ERSAF’s state property.
