NOM – Smart Land Nord Ovest Metropolitano

Through the NOM – Smart Land Nord Ovest Metropolitano project, the objective is to formulate a territorial strategy for comprehensive area development, aiming to enhance its appeal by capitalizing on its proximity to the cities of Milan and Monza, as well as other significant supra-local areas of interest. This involves interventions focused on improving internal and external mobility systems, regenerating urban areas for the community’s benefit, expanding renewable energy sources, and highlighting cultural and natural points of interest, with the incorporation of smart digitalisation tools.

The result of the Focus resulted in the identification of 45 eligible projects, which were subsequently organised into a Matrix consisting of 5 thematic Corridors: Infrastructural regeneration | Sustainable connections | Green style | Energy sustainability | Digital environment

With the drafting of the Focus Territoriale, a local commitment emerged to embark on a shared pathway capable of regenerating, enhancing and making accessible the urban fabric of the Nord Ovest Metropolitano while also safeguarding the environment.
