The Renewable Energy Communities, originated with the EU Directive 2018/2001 (RED II) as an innovative model of energy production and management from renewable sources, are based on self-production and sharing of energy surplus among participants or by feeding it into the grid. The overriding goal of RECs is to provide environmental, economic and social benefits, before financial profits, to those who participate and to the whole territory.

For these projects we also collaborate in partnership with some influential ESCOs (Energy Service Companies) specialised in RECs.
The Integrated Territorial Energy Districts intend to be a system of multiple networked RECs, to which are also added other aspects related to territorial energy management such as heat, biogas, biomass or energy efficiency tools for public buildings.
