SAM – Smart Land Adda Martesana

SAM – Smartland Adda Martesana is a territorial project coordinated by Ecomuseo Martesana which aims to share and network needs and infrastructural projects of the Municipalities belonging to a circumscribed territory (Homogeneous Zone Adda-Martesana) as well as to find the best procedural, projectual, economic and management solutions to implement them.

The first phase of Focus Territoriale was launched in April 2021 and concluded on November 27 2021 with the convening of the assembly of Mayors open to the public where the results of the study were presented. The outcome of the Focus led to the identification of 268 eligible projects, which were subsequently rationalised into a Matrix composed by 6 Thematic Corridors: Mobility | Water & Environment | Energy Transition | Regeneration | Tourism | Digitization.

With the drafting of the Territorial Focus, the local community expressed its commitment to embark to embark on a shared pathway aimed at enhancing the environmental heritage and actively involving all third-sector networks in the development of the territory.

As a result of this study, in the first half of 2022, 16 Municipalities expressed their willingness to move forward together and nominated Bellinzago Lombardo as the lead Municipality for the project. It has received the Project of Services proposal from Municipia and Cisa and is currently in the evaluation phase.
